A Little Wider View | Jay Yeon | TEDxKDISchool

Video Producer Jay talks about how creating videos for his YouTube channel remade his world, and how he's trying to remake other people’s worlds with the videos he creates. Since he usually creates content about diversity and social issues, he gets to learn about the things, cultures, and people he is not used to. Every time he makes a video about the things he didn’t know about, he can feel his vision of the world getting wider and wider. He believes this is a form of remaking his world and he loves doing it. Jay hopes his journey through the channel JAYKEEOUT remakes the viewer’s world as well, just like how it remakes his. I am Jay from the YouTube channel JAYKEEOUT. I create content about cultural differences, diversity and try to spread good vibes with the videos I make. I have worked as a producer at DINGO, a viral content company in Korea, and have worked in many different content scenes such as music videos, digital content, and so on. Through my YouTube channel, I try to spotlight the hidden / ignored social issues in a way that people will actually get to know them. I believe the best way to convince people is to show them what they like with a little pinch of the message I try to portray. Using social experiments and interviews as my main content, I try to get people involved in the issues that are easily ignored. I’m trying to spread good vibes through videos at the moment but my goal is to expand this movement into other forms of content in near future.
